MIGRATING BIRDS STOP FOR SNACK

robins in hawthorn tree

They’re a little hard to see in the photo, but a group of robins decided to partake of the berries that were on my hawthorn tree. Our regular robins left some time ago, so maybe these were robins from Canada passing through to warmer weather.

The juncos have also arrived from their summer hiatus up north. They’ll stay here most of the winter, eating out of the sunflower oiler feeder.

Photo taken with my Blackberry.
